    Eligibility

    • International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting Kenya is recreation, sight-seeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or casual business visit.

    • Passport should have at least 6 months validity from the date of arrival in Kenya. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.

    Non-Eligibility

    • Not available for Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer travel document holders

    • Not available to people aged 16 years or below. They are not required to obtain an ETA to travel to Kenya.

    • Not available for International Travel Document Holders

    Notes:

    • The East Africa Tourist Visa is for foreigners visiting Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda simultaneously. It is multi-entry within the three (3) countries; however, this expires automatically if a traveler goes outside of the three (3) countries.

    • The processing time is up to 3 business days, excluding  Saturdays ,  Sundays , and  Public holidays.

    • Kenya Single Entry Visa and  Kenya Transit Visa are available for single entry only. The validity of Kenya ETA is 90 days from the date of issue. Therefore, applicants of the eligible countries/territories may apply online 90 days in advance.

    • Kenya Transit Visa is available for one-time transit within 72 hours only.

    • Kenya Visa online is non-extendable, non-convertible & not valid for visiting protected/restricted and Cantonment Areas.

    • PRINT VISA AUTHORITY IN COLOUR AND PRESENT IT AT THE AIRPORT OR POINT OF ENTRY ON ARRIVAL.

    Kenya ETA is currently valid for entry through designated Airports, Seaports, and Land Borders as below:

    • International Airports: Eldoret, Garisa Airtrip, Jomo Kenyatta, Kisumu, Manda (Lamu), Lokichogio, Malindi, Moi, Wajir, Wilson.

    • Seaports: Kilindini, Kisumu, Kuinga, Lamu, Malindi, Mbita Point, Muhuru Bay, Old Port, Shimoni, Vanga.

    • Land Borders: Busia, Isebania, Liboi, Loitokitok, Lungalunga, Malaba, Mandera, Moyale, Nadapal, Namanga, Taveta.
